Welcome to our course, "Understanding Social Determinants of Health and Oral Epidemiology." In this journey, we'll explore how social determinants profoundly affect health, focusing on oral health disparities and epidemiology. You'll define health and the term "social determinant," grasp oral health disparities, and learn to apply these concepts practically. We'll cover the five domains related to social determinants of health and discuss access-to-care barriers for individuals with disabilities. Active participation and discussions are encouraged for a comprehensive understanding.
